DOWNTOWN GREENVILLE
If you have a few hours between wedding festivities, Downtown Greenville is the perfect place to spend them. Stroll along Main Street, stop for a coffee or cocktail, browse the local shops, and make your way down to Falls Park on the Reedy River.
Be sure to walk across the Liberty Bridge for one of the best views in the city. From there, follow the river, hop onto the Swamp Rabbit Trail, or simply find a patio and stay awhile.

Looking for a little adventure downtown?
There's more to downtown Greenville than meets the eye! Hidden among the shops, restaurants, and bustling sidewalks of Main Street are nine tiny bronze mice, each with a name, a personality, and a special hiding place.
Inspired by the children's classic Goodnight Moon, Mice on Main is one of Greenville's most charming little traditions. What better way to get acquainted with our city than to turn a stroll down Main Street into a scavenger hunt?
We've included nine rhyming clues below to help you along the way. Some mice are easy to spot, while others might take a little extra searching. So grab your walking shoes, keep your eyes peeled, and see if you can find the whole mouse family!
The challenge: Find all nine before you leave Greenville!🐭
Begin your search on North Main outside of the hotel restaurant where a fountain makes a wall of water. You'll find the father mouse, Marvin, reading his book. He can't hide--take a good look!
Mother Maggie is just across the street, sitting where she can see Marvin. When she looks down the street, she can see their five baby mice, placed here and there, all so sweet.
Cross the street and walk a bit. You'll see Marvin, Jr. at the top of the stairs where coffee lovers and computer gurus meet and poets love to count their feet.
Near the bustling square where people meet, Marcley hides just off the street. Where hedges grow and railings rise, look down low for a mouse-sized surprise!
Teeny Tiny Millie is hiding from view, near a shop full of glasses and a sign that's blue. Look up high, and you just might see, the tiniest mouse in the family tree!
Mitch is ready to run and have some fun, near a garden where banking is done. Across from the flowers, away from the light, he hides at the base of a corner painted white!
You'll see Melissa across the block; she likes to keep her eye on all the "rocks."
Aunt Mifflin is on the corner by a bank. (It’s the oldest one downtown, to be quite frank.)
Mifflin's husband, Uncle Miles, loves Italian. He's by the rain spout. If you've found him, give a shout!
